     Drummond Clan Society

Gang Warily and Welcome to the Clan Drummond Society Page. "Is e do bheatha"

Welcome Kinsmen and Friends

Update News: Have added some new information to the info page about (The Drummond Name - from ATTILA the HUN)

Due to lack of use and interest, the Clan Drummond list serve has been removed. On another note, there is now more pictures from Drummond Castle and Gardens online for you to look at. Thanks to all of you who have helped collect them. If any of you have more pictures, please send them in.

It has been a long time in the making, but the Clan does now have an official web site. I will try to make this an ever growing site, and current. To do this will take time, that I am willing to put into the site. It has also been by the donations of others that we are able to have this space. Most notably is that of Celt.Net. I would recommend looking at the other sites that they have on their server.

The background, on which the buttons and crest rest, is that of the modern set for Drummond of Perth. In the future, there will be a page that will have all of the tartan set, that I am aware of, for the Clan Drummond. I will also have the sets listed from the areas that Drummond was associated with. The most notable of these is Perthshire and Lennex.

To let you know, at the present, this page is not sanctioned by the Clan Chief nor his son, but loved the site and say that they see no errors as it stands. They feel that no one site should be sanctioned or not, but that a strong presence for the clan to be on the site. So, the Clan Drummond Society that is open to all, around the world. Other Clans have organizations that would rival some lodges. I see no reason why we should not have the same privileges and exposure as the other Clans do. The only way that this can happen is if we all pull together as a family. That is what the word Clann means.

If there is anything that I can do to improve the site, please let me know. I will look at every suggestion and do what I can to implement it, if it will benefit the Clan and this Page
